    With over 30 years of experience, Our facilitator is certified as a Mindfulness-Based trainer from the Department of Life and Health Sciences at the faculty of Medicine of the Brussels University. He is an educational psychologist and certified mediation and NLP trainer.

  • An interactive session suitable for people of all fitness levels, providing information, advice and guidance on physical activity, mental health and wellbeing. The aim of the session is to help attendees understand how to build physical activity into the working day as a practical way to improve wellbeing and maintain good mental health.

  • Everyone has mental health, as they have physical health. The stigma of mental health is slowly decreasing, however it is still difficult for many to speak about openly or to address, unlike our physical health. Of course, not all men find mental health difficult to speak about or to address, however, this workshop has a specific focus to support men to be more aware of how mental health impacts their happiness, health and work in a tangible and relatable way.

    In these sessions:

    • We provide tools and tips on how men can begin speaking about mental health with more comfort and confidence.

    • We support men to be more aware and comfortable with their feelings, so they can begin to address them.

    • We provide tangible ways that men can sustainably support their own unique mental health.

Manager, Champion, & Strategy Training

  • • The Importance of Wellbeing: We will support managers to understand the importance of enabling their team's wellbeing, as happier and healthier teams perform better, take fewer sick days and are more engaged. We cover many areas of wellbeing from mental health and sleep through to activity and digital.

    • How to Support Your Team's Wellbeing: The interactive session will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to enable their team members to work on their own wellbeing, by taking into account their teams' unique needs.

    • How to Support Your Own Wellbeing: Our expert consultants will also support the managers to understand why it is important to look after their wellbeing too and provide ways to integrate Rener Wellbeing’s four areas of wellbeing into their life. In the full training course, managers will also be support to develop their own wellbeing action plans.

  • • What is a wellbeing champion?

    • Overview of workplace wellbeing: mental health, physical activity, sleep, nutrition and company culture - how they impact individual's happiness, health and work.

    • Overview of any existing wellbeing provision at your organisation

    • Understanding your colleagues: We know that your colleagues have different barriers, enablers and aims to wellbeing. Together, we’ll look at how your wellbeing champions can work to understand their colleagues' unique wellbeing needs and how to come up with inclusive ways to encourage and enable their unique wellbeing needs.

    • How to have 1:1 conversations about wellbeing - including role plays

    • Practical tools to encourage and enable wellbeing - e.g. signposting, inclusive wellbeing initiative ideas, how to support individuals etc.

    • Action plan development: As a group, they will work together to come up with bespoke actions they will take - e.g. develop an initiative calendar or how they will go about encouraging and enabling their colleagues to improve their wellbeing.

  • 2020’s Mental Health Awareness Week’s theme was Kindness.

    This workshop will cover:

    • The improved mental and physical wellbeing benefits gained from being kind to yourself and to those in your team.

    • The significant work benefits such as improved performance and productivity that also come from cultures that foster kindness.

    • How to foster cultures of kindness within your teams,

    • How to integrate mental health, physical activity, sleep and nutrition into your life (Be kind to yourself!).

  • We need interaction with other people to thrive. When one person speaks to another, something unique happens between them – it can be an affirming experience, or it can be the opposite. It impacts our wellbeing and our effectiveness in all domains of our lives.

    These sessions will explore:

    • The verbal and nonverbal dimensions of interpersonal communication

    • The enablers and roadblocks to effective communication

    • The power of listening for understanding

    • The power of clear intention when speaking

    • The benefits to self, the other and the relationship.

  • Organisations, schools, personal development, and wellbeing sectors are beginning to take the impact of EI seriously. These skills are being recognised as fundamental to quality of life, emotional wellbeing, and healthy relationships. In the workplace (both physical and virtual), they influence high performance and job satisfaction, growth mindset, positive engagement in teams, contribution to motivating and safe work environments.

    These sessions explore:

    • The definition and key components of Emotional Intelligence

    • The relationship between thoughts and emotions and their impact on EI

    • The benefits of paying attention to how we manage ourselves, empathise with others, communicate effectively, and be both self and socially aware

    • Explore practical ways to strengthen EI in our own lives, both personally and at work

  • In these workshops we touch on the barriers and enablers to enhancing our social wellness and steps we can take to support this important aspect in our lives. Research has shown that having healthy social relationships positively impacts all other aspects of our wellbeing.

    We also cover aspects of Digital Wellbeing and how to manage our relationships, particularly when working from home or hybrid working.

  • All parents desire to balance work and family life and many find it a real challenge; particularly now that many have to work from home. Research shows that parents who manage to create a nurturing environment at home are happier, more creative and positive at work - and at home. Yet, many working parents feel guilty and stressed of not doing enough in either environment. This impacts on their performance and withers their potential at work and their connection with their children at home.

    During the workshops, we will give you easy to use tools that will help you create and keep the work-life balance you desire.

    We will explore ways to find solutions to conflicts, how respond positively to difficult emotions and ways to set up clear boundaries.

  • Our qualified mediator and mediator trainer will provide attendees in theses sessions with tools, tips and methods to support them to effectively manage conflicts at work and in other aspects of their lives.

Tools and Tips

  • We support attendees to build their own wellbeing action plans that will be immediately implementable, but also adaptable so they last.

    This Practical Workshop Covers:

    • 3-4 key prongs of wellbeing and how they benefit our health, happiness and work: (usually) mental health, physical activity, sleep and nutrition.

    • Attendees will go away with a tangible wellbeing action plan. It will cover:

    • Your barriers to each area

    • Your enablers to each area

    • Tailored, tangible, realistic, and adaptable action points to each area.

    • The benefits these actions will make to YOUR life… essentially your ‘WHY’.

  • When was the last time you woke up feeling rested? Do you feel a difference to how you feel and work when you are rested?

    Sleep was the original theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 2020, as it not only significantly impacts our physical health, but also impacts our mental health. Sleep also costs UK organisations nearly as much as mental health does annually!

    These sessions cover:

    • The science behind why sleep is so important for our overall health and work.

    • How to support yourself to get enough quality sleep.

    • How to support others to prevent sleep deprivation and recover from it.

  • These Sport England endorsed Workplace Movement interactive sessions are suitable for all fitness levels, providing information, advice and guidance on integrating physical activity into our personal and work lives.

    The aim of the sessions are to help attendees understand how being active supports good health and how to build activity into the working day.

All sessions outlined can be tailored to meet your needs and culture. Most organisations schedule a series of live sessions or videos through our bespoke packages. However, we can also run one-off sessions. Many of our workshops are 1 hour long. Some sessions are longer from 2 hours through to full days.
